These results all PART TIME! I actually grow Pinterest accounts for a living! I’m gonna teach you how to do what I do, and for free!
Here we go..
Setting your Pinterest account up for success
I’m not gonna spend too much time here. You’ve probably heard it all:
- Optimize your account
- Fill out your profile
- Write board descriptions, etc.
I’ve got news. This is all true! It’s part of building the foundation. First, you set your account correctly. Then, you add content. Lastly, you stay active and continue to add content.
Here’s your checklist for setting your foundation:
- Set up a Business account
- Add a profile photo (logo or personal picture)
- Add a profile description
- Add a website url
- Add 10 boards(minimum) that your audience would find useful
- Add board descriptions and fill them with keywords
- Make sure each board has at least 10 pins
Next you will add content.
Adding pillar content to your Pinterest account
This means you are adding high quality pins. These are pins that are relevant to your niche and are likely to be repinned.
You will add a mix of your own content and others’ content. For your own content, make sure the pin description has a 100+ word description and keyword rich. Your pin should be eye-catching with bold colors (warm tones do better than cool tones).
The last step is simply rinse and repeat. You will continue to remain active on Pinterest. Here’s how…
Rinse and Repeat
You wanna remain active daily. This doesn’t mean glue yourself to your laptop pinning all day. It doesn’t mean you have to hire a virtual assistant to be glued pinning all day. Automate!
I use a tool called Tailwind. It has so many features and only $10 per month. I use it to pin 100 times per day and it only takes about 10 minutes a day or an hour a week to set up.
So this is it, my strategy for Pinterest growth. Seems easy doesn’t it? That’s because it is. No fancy training or courses needed. Do you have some tips to add? Share down below in comments!
